Our Board Members

  • Joe McConnaughy

    Joe McConnaughy is one of our board members here at North County Family Services. He is passionate about family and serving people, and he has been involved in various community projects and initiatives. Joe was part of a bachelor of science pilot program at Skagit Valley College and earned one of Skagit’s first BASc degrees. He was also recently elected as Darrington Fire Commissioner position #3, where he oversees the fire department’s operations and budget. In his spare time, Joe enjoys family activities, dabbling in electronics, especially RF, and ham radio as an extra class operator.

  • April McConaughy

    April McConnaughy serves as a board member at North County Family Services. She recently accepted a position with the United States Post Office in Darrington after working in social services for over a decade. She loves to travel and explore new places, and she enjoys spending time with her family. She is also working on a business degree, as she is always eager to learn new skills and expand her knowledge. She has lived in Darrington for over 40 years and is proud to call it her home. She is also an active member of the Chickasaw Nation, a Native American Tribe of Oklahoma.

  • Cynthia Wiley

    Cynthia Wiley has been an integral part of the Darrington community for 31 years. With a loving husband and four children who've blessed their lives, they cherish family above all else. As proud grandparents to four adventurous grandchildren, they find joy in every moment spent with their growing family. Professionally, Cynthia is a versatile individual, having worked across various fields, each contributing to their rich tapestry of experiences. Their dedication to their community mirrors their strong belief in the mission statement of NCFS. In their journey through life, Cynthia embodies the values of love, dedication, and service, leaving a positive impact on everyone they encounter.
